Granola is indeed healthy, but one must be cautious about its fat and calories due to the added sugar from the bars. A home-made granola with oatmeal, fruits and honey is the wiser choice when compared to commercially sold ones.

    Some foods for lunch and dinner can likewise be deceiving towards the eye. Contrary to common knowledge, a veggie burger for example is not a healthy choice at all since it has numerous bad qualities to it.

    Though it is true it contains far less fat and cholesterol than meat burgers, the ingredient that binds the veggie patty together is actually comprised of cheeses and dressings that are high in caloric content.
